About APAA 2011 Logo

About the Jeepney Logo (designed by Jeffrey Capili)
The automotive icon of the Philippines known for its flamboyant decorations of bright colors, chrome horses, at least ten mirrors, horns and lamps on its engine hatch, the jeepney has become a symbol of Filipino ingenuity and uniqueness.. as there are no two jeepneys that are exactly alike. Jeepneys reflect Filipinos as a joyful people and their pride in turning scrap into something useful. In response to calls for reduced greenhouse gas emissions and the rise in oil prices, the future generation of this transportation, called E-jeepneys, are being test-run in Makati.
